AVTHS Medical Missions Update
We were able to do the following Evangelical Medical Missions in the last few months.
Arewa Medical Mission Report
A Conference of Northern Christians resident in South East/South-South took place in Owerri, Imo State from 25 – 27, 2012. The Conference had delegates from as far as Delta, Edo, Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Cross River and the SE states.
The AVTHS was drafted, in an emergency, for medical missions on the 25th morning. We responded affirmatively and saw patients the same day, but without dispensing their drugs
AVTHS provided 98% of the drugs used, exclusively ran the mission for the first two days before few persons joined in the last two days. AVTHS also distributed Arabic, Hausa and English gospel tracts both for the outreach and to Northerners in various states.
Ohuhu Nsulu Medical Mission
Africa Vision Tract House Society (AVTHS), the missionary arm of Nigeria Christian Graduate Fellowship (NCGF) in collaboration with Association for Peace And Development Initiative (APDI) and Nigeria Fellowship of Evangelical Students (NIFES), Aba Sub Zone organized and executed a medical mission to Ohuhu Nsulu in Isiala-Ngwa Local Government Area, Abia State from April 21 – 24, 2021.
Call for Sponsored Medical Missions
Due to the ongoing construction of the NCGF House project taking a large part of our income, we are seeking sponsors for medical missions through the individual members and chapters of the NCGF. The sponsorship calls can serve as a way of giving back to the communities and of sharing the love of Christ. This sponsorship can be categorised into Individual sponsors, Joint sponsors or a link to a potential sponsor that can be of help and immense benefit to society.

What is AVTHS?
Africa Vision Tract House Society (AVTHS) is the missionary arm of the Nigeria Christian Graduate Fellowship (NCGF). AVTHS writes, publishes and distributes gospel tracts in major African and International languages for evangelism and render free medical services to rural communities in Nigeria and some African countries.
AVTHS, an Africa-focused organisation, has its registered headquarters in Lagos, Nigeria with seven (7) regional and country offices spread across Africa:

AVTHS was established in 1997 by the NCGF and is independently registered with the governments of Nigeria, Ghana and The Gambia as a charity organisation. AVTHS has the mission to write, publish, print and distribute FREE gospel tracts and Christian literature in different languages for the execution of the Great Commission, to equip people for His Kingdom, and to meet basic human needs through appropriate social, medical, educational and relief projects. The spread of AVTHS activities has been made possible also through the partnership with groups such as English and Portuguese Speaking Africa (EPSA) of International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES), (Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF), Calvary Ministries (CAPRO), Family Renaissance International (FRI), and Well of Salvation among a list too long to mention. All our tracts are distributed FREE as the Lord provides fund through willing partners of Christian friends, organisations and churches.
We are assured that the availability of gospel tracts in the indigenous languages of a people coupled with free medical outreaches will bring about deep transformation in the target community. This transformation will lead to higher productivity at the academic and professional levels, increased social consciousness concerning personal and community hygiene and sanitation, and enhanced personal satisfaction and affirmation that bring about proper self-esteem.

- 13 eye surgeries performed
- 33 General and Gynaecological surgeries performed
- 330 Laboratory tests conducted
- 62 Eyeglasses dispensed
- 117 People made decisions for Christ
- 55 Copies of Bibles were given to new converts
- 8,000 Gospel tracts distributed to patients and Churches/groups for evangelism
- In a Special programme, more than 250 children of the nursery to secondary school ages were reached with the Gospel and several gift items. Adults too got some welfare materials.
