WHAT WE DO

Our only goal is to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ, which can deliver people from the grip of evil that is sustained by sin, sickness, deformity, and pain.

The Lord has given the vision for this project, which will pool resources to create gospel tracts and other educational materials to carry out the Great Commission to restore the King: “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come” (Matt 24:14). Whenever the need arises and the necessary finances are gathered, we also send medical missions to underserved villages in Africa.

Many individuals in certain remote villages in Africa have received hope, life, and love through AVTHS through medical missions and evangelism using our gospel tracts in their local tongues.

Evangelism through gospel tract distribution and medical missions, two of AVTHS’s primary areas of assignment, have significantly impacted a huge number of people all over the world.

Through our capacity-building initiatives, such as “Noble Writers Workshop,” “Africa Vision Roundtable (AVR),” skill acquisition programmes, etc., we support churches, individuals, organisations, schools, and educational institutions by helping people receive the training they need to improve their writing abilities and acquire the knowledge needed for regular daily use and activities.

TRACT PRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION

The majority of our work consists of publishing tracts in some of the most widely spoken African languages and sending medical teams to underdeveloped African nations. These activities have given many people in many African communities and beyond hope, healing, and redemption.

In the 28 years that we have been in operation, we have created more than twenty-eight (28) million gospel tracts in 24 different languages. We now have 167 gospel tract titles in print, including:

When creating tracts in the majority of the languages, one of the key activities we worked on was tract translation. We hope to write or translate a tract into at least one of the official languages of every African nation.

Printing and distributing one gospel tract costs N10.00. The production and distribution of at least 1000 gospel tracts/leaflets per month may be something you would want to sponsor. Additionally, you can offer your services as a gospel tract writer, translator, editor, and/or editor of major African languages.

We keep missionary offices in major cities from which gospel tractsare sent to the neighbourhood para-church organisations, churches, and ministries. Your home, place of employment, church, or fellowship centre may serve as the next missionary outlet. Are you willing to support the publication of a gospel tract for a local language group? MEDICAL MISSIONS AND SOCIAL SERVICES

AVTHS offers medical assistance to those in rural and isolated villages who lack access to healthcare.

Thanks to partners like you, we are able to provide love and dignity through volunteer medical and community health workers, life-saving procedures, and other services.

Thousands of people in Africa are afflicted with illnesses that may be treated with medical attention. Unfortunately, a large number of people are unable to pay for the surgeries they require. YOU are giving access to even the most fundamental medical care to the poor and vulnerable residents in distant communities.

By partnering with AVTHS, you are saving lives and showing God’s love—bringing hope, joy, and healing to the sick.

In order to give patients from underserved and distant communities the medication, care, and therapy they require, AVTHS collaborates with regional hospitals and pharmaceutical firms.

In the past 17 years, we have wholly or jointly financed and carried out 61 medical missions in communities across 7 African nations, including The Gambia, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Guinea-Bissau, Tanzania, South Sudan, and Nigeria.

To the Glory of God, we have provided free medical care for more than 60,589 individuals. We carried out 2,049 general, obstetrical, and gynaecological procedures, many of which required the use of different forms of medication. We also distributed 6,687 prescription medications and reading glasses. In addition to our diagnostic methods, we run a number of laboratory tests, including HIV/AIDS screening.

Through these efforts, almost 13,809 people choose to follow Christ. Many received training in programs for acquiring skills and the economy. Training in education and healthy living was also provided.
