FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Africa Vision Tract House Society (AVTHS) exists to advance the Great Commission by producing and distributing free gospel tracts and Christian literature in multiple languages. Beyond publishing, the organisation also carries out medical, educational, relief, and other social intervention projects aimed at meeting practical human needs and strengthening communities spiritually and socially.
All gospel tracts are produced by AVTHS and distributed free of charge. Funding comes through voluntary donations and partnerships with Christian individuals, churches, and organisations. This support enables the Society to make evangelistic materials widely accessible, particularly in indigenous languages, and to combine literature distribution with community-based outreach initiatives such as free medical programmes.

You can partner with Africa Vision Tract House Society (AVTHS) by committing to support its missionary and social impact initiatives. This includes sponsoring gospel tract printing in specific languages, funding medical outreaches, supporting educational needs such as scholarships and publications, donating Bibles to the Tract House Bible Bank, financing printing equipment, contributing toward building projects, and mobilising others to pray or give. Partnership may be financial, material, or prayer-based, depending on your capacity and commitment.
By supporting the Tract House Project, you help make the gospel accessible in indigenous languages and enable underserved communities to receive medical and social services at no cost. Your involvement directly contributes to evangelism, discipleship, and community development. It also allows you to participate meaningfully in missionary work—whether or not you go to the field—by strengthening those actively engaged in outreach and humanitarian service.
Africa Vision Tract House Society focuses on four primary areas: gospel tract publication and distribution, medical and social services missions, printing press operations, and human capacity development. The organisation proclaims the gospel of Jesus Christ through literature in multiple African languages while also sending medical teams to underserved communities. In addition, it strengthens individuals and institutions through writing workshops, roundtables, and skill acquisition programmes.
In 28 years of operation, AVTHS has produced over 28 million gospel tracts in 24 languages, with 167 different titles currently in print. These include major African and international languages such as English, Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo, Arabic, French, Kiswahili, and others. The long-term goal is to translate or write at least one tract in an official language of every African nation, ensuring broader access to the gospel in indigenous tongues.
Over the past 18 years, AVTHS has wholly or jointly financed and conducted 66 medical missions across seven African countries, providing free medical care to more than 60,589 people. These missions have included thousands of surgical procedures, distribution of medications and reading glasses, laboratory testing (including HIV screening), and health education. Beyond physical care, 13,809 individuals made decisions to follow Christ, while many others received training in healthy living and skills development, reflecting both spiritual and social transformation.
