The Nigeria Christian Graduate Fellowship (NCGF) and the Africa Vision Tract House Society (AVTHS) organised an evangelical medical mission to the Buchanan Community, Grand Bassa County, Liberia, from 5–12 November 2012. A team of 39 personnel, comprising 20 medical professionals and 19 general service members from Nigeria and Ghana, participated in the outreach.

The Medical Mission achieved the following outcomes:

i. Over 1,490 residents of Buchanan and surrounding communities received free medical care.

ii. 145 eyeglasses were dispensed for reading and sight.

iii. 95 general surgeries and 8 eye surgeries were performed.

iv. 179 dental procedures were carried out, including extractions and other treatments.

v. 325 laboratory tests were conducted.

vi. Distribution of 200 Holy Bibles and 80,000 gospel tracts to support evangelism and counselling.

vii. Over 470 individuals made decisions for Christ, affirming the spiritual impact of the mission.

We thank God for the success of this outreach and acknowledge the dedication of all team members from Nigeria and Ghana. Appreciation is also extended to the Buchanan Community and local partners, whose cooperation and support ensured the smooth execution of the programme.
