The Nigeria Christian Graduate Fellowship (NCGF) and the Africa Vision Tract House Society (AVTHS), in partnership with Centre for Mission Development (CMD), Lagos and Church of God Mission International, Lekki, conducted a one-day medical mission programme in the Babalola Community, Itoke, Lekki Peninsula, Lagos on 30 April 2016. The outreach provided medical services, counselling, and evangelistic support to residents of the host community.
The Medical Mission achieved the following outcomes:
i. 156 patients were registered for the programme.
ii. 83 patients received medical consultations.
iii. 73 patients collected free drugs from the pharmacy.
iv. 18 laboratory tests were conducted.
v. 118 individuals received counselling services.
vi. 28 people made decisions for Jesus Christ.
vii. Distribution of 8,000 gospel tracts to patients, the church, and mission agencies.
viii. 130 New Testaments were distributed to patients.
ix. 70 New Testaments were distributed to enquirers.
x. 25 complete Holy Bibles were distributed.
xi. 28 ministers were actively involved in service delivery.
We thank God for the success of this outreach and acknowledge the partnership of CMD Lagos, Church of God Mission International, volunteers, and medical personnel, as well as the cooperation of the Babalola Community, which ensured a smooth and impactful mission.
