The Africa Vision Tract House Society (AVTHS), in partnership with the Upper Room Baptist Church, Lekki–Ajah, conducted a one-day Medical Mission for residents of Lekki–Ajah and surrounding communities in Lagos State on Tuesday, 1 October 2019. The programme, tagged “Come and Eat 2019,” was organised to address the physical (food and clothing), medical, and spiritual needs of the beneficiaries.
This outreach provided an opportunity to minister holistically to the community through healthcare services, counselling, and evangelism, demonstrating God’s love in practical ways.
The Medical Mission achieved the following outcomes:
i. A total of 82 people received medical treatment.
ii. 97 laboratory tests were conducted.
iii. 35 individuals received counselling services.
iv. 15 persons made decisions for Jesus Christ.
v. Gospel tracts were distributed to beneficiaries.
vi. Food and clothing items were distributed.
