PFN/NEMA/AVTHS MEDICAL OUTREACH 2026

Africa Vision Tract House Society (AVTHS), the missionary arm of the Nigeria Christian Graduate Fellowship (NCGF), in partnership with the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (Okota Chapter 2) and in collaboration with the Nigeria Evangelical Missions Association (Lagos Chapter), conducted a one-day Medical Outreach in the Okota community of Lagos.

The outreach was hosted at the Foursquare Gospel Church, located at 43–49, Esuola Street, off Ago-Palace Way, Okota, on Saturday, 28th February 2026. The programme, titled “Medical Check-Ups and Education,” was specially designed for ministers, pastors, evangelists, prophets, teachers, apostles, missionaries, and para-church workers.

The outreach provided general medical check-ups, prostate cancer screening, breast cancer screening, eye examinations, dental care, and general nutritional and dieting counselling. The programme was aimed at promoting health awareness, encouraging early detection of diseases, and fostering healthy lifestyle practices among church leaders and Christian workers.

Outcomes of the Outreach

i. A total of 105 patients were registered: 48 adult males, 51 adult females, and 6 children.

ii. 103 patients were attended to at the Vital Signs Department (47 adult males, 50 adult females, and 6 children), with 20 individuals identified as having elevated blood pressure.

iii. 90 patients received consultations at the General Medicine Department.

iv. 47 Patients were examined at the Eye/Optometry Department.

v. 88 patients obtained medications from the General Pharmacy.

vi. A total of 37 eyeglasses were dispensed.

vii. The Laboratory Department attended to 86 patients.

viii. 391 laboratory tests were conducted.

ix. A total of 49 patients were attended to at the Dental Department. Services provided included 20 consultations, 3 dental fillings, 8 extractions, and 18 scaling and polishing procedures.

x. 10 female patients were examined at the Breast Screening Department

xi. About 24 medical and support personnel participated in the outreach.

We thank God for His grace, protection, and provision throughout the programme. We sincerely appreciate our partners, volunteers, and host church for their commitment, cooperation, and sacrificial service, which contributed significantly to the success of the outreach.
