AFRICA VISION TRACT HOUSE SOCIETY (AVTHS)/COVENANT OF REDEMPTION NEEDIES MISSION (CORNM) MEDICAL OUTREACH MAY 2026

Africa Vision Tract House Society (AVTHS), the missionary arm of the Nigeria Christian Graduate Fellowship (NCGF), in partnership with Covenant of Redemption Needies Mission (CORNM), conducted a one-day Medical Outreach at 26, Akiti Avenue, Off Okota Road, Isolo, Lagos State, on Saturday, May 2, 2026.

The Outreach was organised to commemorate Rev (Mrs) Elizabeth Olufemi Joseph’s 70th birthday celebrations. It aims to provide accessible healthcare services while demonstrating the love of God through practical interventions and spiritual support to members of the community.

Activities commenced with a devotion, followed by a health talk aimed at promoting preventive health practices.

Our team offered services in general medicine, eye care, medical laboratory, cervical screening, breast screening, pharmacy, and health education. The programme also included the distribution of gospel tracts and welfare materials.

The Outreach achieved the following outcomes:

i. A total of 148 patients were registered, comprising 53 males and 95 females; 28 children and 120 adults.

ii. 124 patients were attended to at the Vital Signs Department, with 41 cases of high blood pressure recorded.

iii. 126 patients received consultations at the General Medicine Department.

iv. 64 patients were attended to at the Eye/Optometry Department, with 43 eyeglasses dispensed.

v. 125 patients obtained medications from the Pharmacy Department.

vi. The Laboratory Department attended to 112 patients, conducting a total of 430 tests; 2 patients tested positive for Hepatitis B and were referred to DOT centres for further management.

vii. 52 patients underwent breast screening, with 3 referred to General Hospital for further evaluation.

viii. 44 patients received cervical screening services.

ix. 74 patients received counselling services.

x. 9 individuals made commitments to Jesus Christ and were handed over to the Covenant of Redemption Needies Mission (CORNM) for proper follow-up.

xi. 35 personnel participated in the Outreach.

xii. 1,000 copies of tracts were distributed to both patients and Tract users.

We thank God for His faithfulness and the successful execution of this Outreach. We also appreciate our partners for their collaboration, dedication, and support, which contributed significantly to the impact recorded during the programme.
