HUMAN CAPACITY DEVELOPMENT
The growth and sustenance of AVTHS and its activities solely depended on the quality and number of human capacities that bought into the vision; hence, attention is given to the team of people involved in carrying out the affairs of the organisation. In addition, the discipleship of those who come to know the Lord through tract ministry and medical missions is a major part of our assignment. We desire that the impact of activities can be deepened when people’s capacities are developed.
Through our Training and Development activities like “Noble Writers Workshop (NWW)”, “Africa Vision Roundtable (AVR)” Discipleship Programme, Capacity Development Training, Skill Acquisition programmes, etc., we help churches, individuals, organisations, schools, and educational institutions train people to improve their writing skills and acquire the knowledge required for their normal daily use and activities.
AFRICA VISION ROUNDTABLE
The Africa Vision Roundtable (AVR) Conference is an event orchestrated by Africa Vision Tract House Society (AVTHS), the missionary arm of Nigeria Christian Graduate Fellowship (NCGF), to ignite the fire for gospel connection between an engaging generation and the next in line for baton reception.
It is a platform for extending the kingdom mandate of soul-winning using the right tool, undiluted gospel impact and ensuring this tradition and the fire it contains are upheld until the King returns in power and splendour.
The AVR provides an online forum for preparing our young minds for corporate, socio-political, and spiritual leadership for the next generation. That the Righteous should no longer operate from under the bushel of poverty, timidity, forced followership, and poor leadership. Our next leaders and parents should operate from the lampstands of grace, knowledge, wealth, and all-around leadership.
AVR is a Strategic multipurpose creation of the Executive Management Committee of the AVTHS.
We will seek out and harness the potential of our younger generation. AVR provides a forum for healthy interactions among themselves and with select older ones in our midst. Their eternal and temporal capacities shall be built and continually improved upon by such interactions, which in turn will make them greater than their parents in all spheres of life.
The maiden edition held on Saturday, June 20, 2020, at noon via the AVTHS Facebook account. A total of 127 people registered for AVR 1, while 40 actively participated in the conference. The seventh edition was on Saturday, February 18, 2023, with the theme A Paradigm Shift To Wealth and Godliness. It is an ongoing series.
NOBLE WRITERS WORKSHOP
The Noble Writers Workshop (NWW) is a unique training programme, excellently packaged, to empower writers, authors, publishers, students, ministers, and everyone interested in the literary arts.
The workshop provides general principles and methods of writing to help the new writer join the literary world. The programme will also highlight the various economic and social benefits of a writing career.
It equips participants with top-notch practical techniques as well as digital skills that enable them to develop the art of writing professionally.
AVTHS held the maiden edition of the Noble Writers Workshop on Saturday, July 30, 2022, via Zoom. We had about 40 participants who joined from various locations for this online meeting. It is an ongoing series that take place quarterly. The seventh edition held on Saturday, 22 March , 2025 on Zoom and Facebook.
