BUILDING THE NCGF LEGACY HOUSE
Since the inception of the Africa Vision Tract House Society (AVTHS), in 1997, the office has been housed in rented apartments from one location to another within Lagos. The scope of the organisation has also expanded from the production of gospel tracts to organising and executing free medical missions within and outside Nigeria.
With the increase in scope and programmes, it has become imperative for AVTHS to have a permanent location to coordinate its activities inside and outside Nigeria. To this end, AVTHS acquired a piece of land in Lagos in 2014 to build a structure that will house the printing press, staff, missionaries, guests, mission materials and equipment, a bookshop and administrative offices. This building christened “NCGF Legacy House” is estimated to cost N100 million when completed.
A Mission Possible
From our record, we have spent over 49 million Naira only from the start of this building project to date. This cost does not include the purchase of land and documentation.
The building construction state is still at 85% completion. Major outstanding is the completion of the internal/external block walls, finishing and furnishing.
