Africa Vision Tract House Society (AVTHS), the missionary arm of the Nigeria Christian Graduate Fellowship (NCGF), in partnership with DeepWaters Church and other organisations, conducted a one-day Medical Outreach in the Mowe community, Obafemi Owode Local Government Area, Ogun State, on Saturday, January 3, 2026.
This Outreach marked the first Medical Mission carried out by the AVTHS team in Mowe, Ogun State. It was hosted at BrookShield Schools, located at 10/18 Henry More Street, off Orimerunmu Road, Mowe-Ibafo, Ogun State.
It provided a valuable opportunity to share the joy of the season while practically demonstrating the love of God to the community.
The Outreach achieved the following outcomes:
i. A total of 115 patients were registered. 52 males and 63 females.
ii. 108 patients were attended to at the Vital Signs Department. 53 males and 55 females. 15 people had raised blood pressure.
iii. 110 patients received consultations at the General Medicine Department.
iv. 50 patients were examined at the Eye/Optometry Department.
v. 102 patients obtained medications from the General Pharmacy.
vi. A total of 34 eyeglasses were dispensed.
vii. The Laboratory Department attended to 84 patients.
viii. 209 laboratory tests were conducted.
ix. 105 patients received counselling services.
xi. 23 individuals made decisions for Christ through counselling.
xii. 2 persons were seen by a physiotherapist
xiii. A total of 1,000 gospel tracts were distributed to patients and soul-winners.
xiv. 74 persons received welfare packages containing foodstuffs and clothes.
xv. 35 personnel participated in the Outreach.
