TANZANIA MEDICAL MISSION 2015

The Nigeria Christian Graduate Fellowship (NCGF) and the Africa Vision Tract House Society (AVTHS), in partnership with Souls Harvesters Ministries, Warri, conducted a medical mission programme in the Kongowe and Toangoma communities, Temeke District, Tanzania, from 11–18 May 2015. The outreach combined medical services, evangelism, and leadership development for youths and church leaders.

The Medical Mission achieved the following outcomes:

i. 893 residents of Kongowe, Toangoma, and surrounding communities received free medical care and medications.

ii. 208 eyeglasses were dispensed for reading and sight.

iii. 373 laboratory tests were conducted for 170 individuals.

iv. 231 individuals made decisions for Jesus Christ, including 125 Muslims.

v. Distribution of 100 Holy Bibles in English.

vi. 92,000 gospel tracts in Swahili and English of various titles were distributed.

vii. Leadership training seminars were conducted for Christian youths and students in two higher institutions.

viii. A pastoral summit for Christian leaders and workers was hosted by the mission team.

We thank God for the success of this outreach and acknowledge the partnership of Souls Harvesters Ministries, the dedication of medical personnel, volunteers, and evangelists, and the cooperation of the Kongowe and Toangoma communities, which ensured a smooth and impactful programme.
