The mission provided an opportunity to address the medical, physical, and spiritual needs of the community through healthcare services, laboratory tests, counselling, evangelism, and the distribution of medications and gospel tracts. Local pastors have committed to follow up with the newly converted individuals.

The Medical Mission achieved the following outcomes:

i. A total of 234 patients were registered.

ii. 234 patients had vital signs checked.

iii. 165 Random Blood Sugar tests were conducted.

iv. 168 patients were seen by the physicians.

v. 205 patients collected drugs from the Pharmacy.

vi. 237 individuals received counselling services.

vii. 15 people made decisions for Christ through counselling.

viii. 1,000 gospel tracts were distributed to patients and groups for evangelism.

Additional observations from the medical checks included:

  • 37% of patients seen were hypertensive.
  • 6% of patients who did the Random Blood Sugar test had hyperglycemia.
