AJEGUNLE MEDICAL MISSION 2012

The Africa Vision Tract House Society (AVTHS) participated in a one-day medical mission organised by the Healthcare Christian Fellowship (HCF) on 12 May 2012 at the Ajegunle Police Barracks, Lagos. The outreach was aimed at providing basic healthcare services and sharing the gospel with members of the host community.

The Medical Mission achieved the following outcomes:

i. 120 adults received medical attention during the outreach.

ii. 102 children were dewormed as part of the preventive health services provided.

iii. 1,500 gospel tracts were distributed by AVTHS to support counselling and evangelism.

iv. Twenty-six (26) individuals made decisions for Christ during the programme.

We thank God for the success of the outreach and appreciate the Healthcare Christian Fellowship (HCF) for the partnership and coordination. We also acknowledge the cooperation of the Ajegunle Police Barracks community, which contributed to the smooth conduct of the programme.
