The Africa Vision Tract House Society (AVTHS) conducted a medical outreach in conjunction with a Conference of Northern Christians residing in the South East and South-South, held in Owerri, Imo State, from 25 to 27 February 2021. The conference hosted delegates from Delta, Edo, Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, and other South East states.
AVTHS provided free medical services for the conference, supplying 98% of the drugs used. The Society exclusively ran the mission during the first two days, with additional personnel joining in the final two days. The outreach also included the distribution of gospel tracts in Arabic, Hausa, and English, both to support the medical mission and to reach Northern Christians residing in various states.
The Medical Mission achieved the following outcomes:
i. Free medical services were provided to all conference participants and delegates.
ii. 98% of medications were supplied by AVTHS and dispensed to beneficiaries.
iii. Gospel tracts were distributed in Arabic, Hausa, and English for evangelism and outreach purposes.
