The Africa Vision Tract House Society (AVTHS), in collaboration with the Upper Room Baptist Church, Lagos, conducted a one-day Medical Mission at the Church premises on Saturday, 9 July 2022.
The outreach provided an opportunity to address the medical, physical, and spiritual needs of the community through healthcare services, counselling, breast screening, and the distribution of gospel tracts and Holy Bibles, demonstrating God’s love in practical ways.
The Medical Mission achieved the following outcomes:
i. A total of 209 cases were treated.
ii. 173 laboratory tests were conducted.
iii. Eyeglasses and 80 eye drops were dispensed.
iv. 126 individuals received medical consultations.
v. 124 patients collected medications.
vi. 24 persons were screened for breast conditions.
vii. 72 individuals received counselling.
viii. 1,500 gospel tracts were distributed.
ix. 10 Holy Bibles were given to beneficiaries.
x. More than 5 individuals made decisions for the Lord Jesus Christ.
