The Nigeria Christian Graduate Fellowship (NCGF), Lagos Chapter, in collaboration with the Africa Vision Tract House Society (AVTHS), conducted a one-day Medical Mission for residents of the Orishigun community and its environs, Lagos State, on Wednesday, 27 December 2023. The outreach was held at the NCGF Legacy House premises, 41–43 Orishigun Street, Kosofe–Ketu, Lagos.
This was the first medical outreach executed by the NCGF/AVTHS team at the location of our office and Fellowship Centre. The mission provided an opportunity to share the Joy of the Season, demonstrate the love of God, and advance our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) toward the host community.
The Medical Mission achieved the following outcomes:
i. A total of 167 patients were registered.
ii. 154 patients were attended to by the General Medicine team.
iii. 122 patients were seen by the Laboratory Department.
iv. 323 laboratory tests were conducted.
v. 95 patients were attended to by the Eye Department.
vi. 68 eyeglasses were dispensed.
vii. 160 patients collected drugs from the Pharmacy.
We thank God for His mercy and provision throughout the mission and appreciate our partners, volunteers, and the host community for their support, prayers, and active participation, which made this outreach impactful and successful.
